ABOUT US
Maison Relais Kuebekescht
The Maison Relais Kuebekescht Mertert provides children with a welcoming and child-friendly environment that encourages
play, learning, creativity and discovery. The facility consists of the Kuebekëscht and its annex, with a total capacity
of up to 75 children.
Children have access to a variety of dedicated spaces, including a creative room, a multimedia and homework room, a
quiet reading area, a workshop, as well as construction and role-play areas. The facility is complemented by an outdoor
area with a playground, sports equipment, a sandbox, a mud kitchen and various ride-on toys.
Participation and independence are important aspects of the educational approach: children are encouraged to contribute
their ideas, help shape their environment and carry out their own projects. Homework support is also offered several
days a week in a calm and suitable setting.

We also offer two “Open Days”, giving you the opportunity to visit our Maison Relais, discover our facilities and learn more about our daily organisation and educational
approach.
Unlike childcare centres for younger children, the settling-in period at the Maison Relais is shorter. We offer “Schnuppertage” (taster/introductory days):
- For children in Précoce and Cycle 1, 2 to 3 introductory days are planned.
- For children in Cycle 2 to 4, they can come 1 to 2 times for 1 to 2 hours to discover the Maison Relais.
These introductory sessions allow children to gradually discover the Maison Relais, its facilities, the educational team and the other children, while becoming familiar with their new environment at their own pace.
