HISTORY
HISTORY
Kabemewa asbl. (Kannerbetreiung Mäertert-Waasserbëlleg) was founded on 26 March 2009 with the aim of meeting the growing needs of families in the municipality of Mertert regarding childcare.
Upon its creation, Kabemewa asbl. took over the activities of "Waasserbëlleger Spatzennascht asbl.", in particular the management of the "Spatzennascht" crèche as well as the "Foyer de Jour Kuebekëscht" and its after-school care.
Since its beginnings, Kabemewa asbl. has accompanied the evolving needs of families and the development of childcare provision in the municipality. In close collaboration with the municipality of Mertert, various facilities and infrastructures have gradually been developed to offer children care that is appropriate, high-quality, and responsive to the realities of families.
Since 2022, Kabemewa asbl. has managed four childcare facilities in Mertert and Wasserbillig, caring for children from 3 months to 13 years old, with a total capacity of 503 children.
An organization dedicated to serving children and families.
